Dashflow — sales, expenses, cash, employees and multi-location operations.
Detailed overview of Dashflow: multi-company and multi-shop structure, sales channels, fees, expenses, cash control, employees, hours, settlements, stock transfers, reporting, audit and licensing.
Dashflow as a business operating system
Dashflow is a browser-based operating platform for companies with one or multiple locations. It combines sales, expenses, cash, employees, working hours, settlements and reporting in one system.
Its architecture supports multiple independent companies and multiple shops/locations per company, with data and access scoped to the relevant business context.
Roles and shop access
The application implements owner, administrator, accountant, manager and staff workflows. Users can also be assigned to individual shops with admin or staff-level shop access.
Sales channels and fees
Sales are recorded by business date, shop, shift and configurable sales channel. Channels can represent fiscal, bank/card, marketplaces or other sources, can be marked as revenue-bearing, and can carry shop-specific percentage fees. The dashboard separates bank and fiscal sales and calculates platform fees and fiscal differences.
Shop and company expenses
Expense categories can be scoped to a shop or to the company. Dashflow supports explicit payment-method selection, editing/deleting records for authorised users, recurring expenses and aggregated expense visibility.
Cash control
Cash sessions track opening cash, expected closing cash, actual counted cash and the resulting difference. Expected cash is derived from operational events rather than simply repeating the manually entered closing amount. Owner cash movements, employee cash and corrections can be reflected in the ledger.
Employees, hours and rates
Employees exist at company level and can work across locations. Working time records support start/end times, breaks and overnight shifts. Hourly rates are effective-dated so historical periods can use the rate valid at that time. Employees can be deactivated/reactivated and their names can be edited.
Employee settlements
The payroll/settlement area combines worked time, applicable rates and employee payments. It provides monthly, individual, inactive-employee and yearly views, with support for payments, bonuses/advances and deductions.
Shops and shifts
Companies can manage multiple shops, configurable shifts, per-shop user assignments and a company-level policy controlling whether additional shops may be created. Historical shifts can be disabled without damaging the financial history that references them.
Inter-shop stock transfers
Dashflow includes inventory items and transfers between shops. Transfers move through sent, received or cancelled states and record the approving user/time for received transfers.
Dashboard and reporting
Monthly and daily views combine revenue, bank/fiscal sales, sales-channel fees, shop/company expenses, worked hours, employee payments, cash reconciliation and calculated operating net. The dashboard also supports spreadsheet export.
Business configuration
Owners/admins can configure sales channels, shop-specific channel fees, expense categories and scope, payment methods, inventory items, users and permissions.
Security and audit
Dashflow includes authentication, login throttling, company context isolation, route-level role checks and an audit log. Project documentation also addresses HTTPS, secret management, restricted database access, backups and operational alerting.
Company licensing
A company-level license system supports start/expiry dates and server-managed extensions by months, years, days or a specific final date. Expiry blocks interactive company access without deleting business data, and access returns after a valid extension.
