Komputex Connect — marketplace → middleware → POS.
Restaurant integration middleware for receiving marketplace orders, normalising data, mapping menu identifiers and importing orders into existing POS systems.
Komputex Connect goal
Komputex Connect is being developed as middleware between an ordering marketplace and a restaurant POS. The middleware receives external orders, normalises platform-specific data and forwards it to a POS through its external-order API/module.
Real pilot demand
The project is driven by an existing restaurant customer in Poland who wants marketplace orders imported directly into the current POS. Uber Eats is the first integration priority because it is the critical online-order channel for this pilot merchant.
Order flow
- Marketplace sends a new-order event.
- Komputex verifies and stores the incoming event.
- The order is converted into a common internal model.
- Menu/product identifiers are mapped to the target POS.
- The external-order API creates the POS order.
- The integration records the POS order ID, status and any errors/retries.
